Dr. Minster is a board certified orthopaedic spine surgeon specializing in the treatment of neck and back disorders. Dr. Minster’s areas of interest include minimally invasive surgery of the neck and back, including microdiscectomy for sciatica. Dr. Minster also specializes in reconstructive surgery of the neck and back and scoliosis surgery. Dr. Minster is a clinical assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at Wayne State University and is involved in residency teaching. Dr. Minster is currently active in spinal disorders research and has multiple publications in that area. Dr. Minster is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American College of surgeons, the North American Spine Society, Scoliosis Research Society and the American Medical Association.
