Anthony Brunetti is a board-certified physician assistant, working in collaboration with Dr. Nicholas Schoch. He specializes in general orthopedics, trauma, shoulder, and knee disorders. Mr. Brunetti has extensive experience first assisting in the operating room, diagnosing, and treating patients in the clinic. Mr. Brunetti graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Charleston (UC) in Charleston, West Virginia. He also received a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in leadership from UC. Mr. Brunetti is a former NCAA Division-II baseball player, which drove his passion for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.
Mr. Brunetti grew up in Huntington, West Virginia. Before becoming a PA, Mr. Brunetti began volunteering in hospitals at age 14 and officially started working in healthcare when he was 17 years old. Mr. Brunetti was a patient care representative for a major cardiac device company as well as an ophthalmology technician. Before joining St. Clair Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, Mr. Brunetti worked for an orthopaedic practice in rural West Virginia, which treated most orthopedics conditions. He has experience working as a clinician with performing thousands of joint and soft tissue injections. He has assisted in thousands of surgeries.
At home, he loves his young family including his wife, Marisa; daughter, Aria; and Australian Shepard, Griffy. He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys the outdoors.
Anthony’s main goal for patients is that they feel educated, understand their conditions, and feel empowered when leaving the clinic. He wants to get patients back into the game whether that is elite sports, recreational hobbies, walking comfortably again, or simply putting on a shirt again.
