Shoulder

Specialty

Shoulder Injuries / Reconstruction

The shoulder is an extremely complicated joint. At St Clair Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, we use our expertise to diagnose and treat many different shoulder conditions and simplify treatment options for you. Many conditions such as arthritis or a frozen shoulder can be diagnosed with history, physical exam and x-rays alone. Frequently an MRI is also part of the shoulder evaluation and helps give us more detailed information about the shoulder, to help guide treatment decisions. Patients are typically given a variety of treatment options, which can range from home therapy to injections, shoulder arthroscopy or shoulder replacement.

Whatever your condition, we will do our best to return you to your desired level of activity or sport as quickly as possible while preserving the long term health and function of your shoulder.
